The effect of the irresistible reaction of the film during the Eid holidays has been seen in the last few days. The movie ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has earned around Rs 16 crore in Hindi language in just two days of this Eid. The texture of social harmony woven in the film has attracted a large number of people towards Eid.
The film manages to entertain as well as inform. The success of ‘KGF Chapter 2’ in Hindi has now surpassed that of Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’, which grossed Rs 36.36 crore at the box office in 2016. People from all walks of life are attracted to the movie and especially on the day of Eid the cinema hall was overflowing with people.
According to the news, on the 20th day of release i.e. Eid day, the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has sold more than Rs 100 million more than expected according to the final Hindi statistics. Till the day of Eid, the total income of the film stood at Tk 852.90 crore. And, this collection in Hindi has reached Rs 362.90 crore till Eid night. According to preliminary figures, the film has grossed around Rs 11.40 crore in all languages on the 21st day of its release.
On the 21st day of release, the film grossed around Rs 8 crore in Hindi, Rs 2 crore in Kannada, Rs 60 lakh in Telugu, Rs 1 crore in Tamil and about Rs 50 lakh in Malayalam. These figures may change slightly after the final number. According to the report, the Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2 has so far grossed around Rs 400 crore.
