‘Water is another name for life’ It is well known that it is almost impossible to survive without water even if you spend some time without food. Almost all living things on earth need water to survive. But you will be surprised to know that there is a rare species of bird in the world that does not drink water without a special moment, no matter how thirsty it may be.
The name of the bird is Chatak bird which is called Jacobin cokko in English. The sparrow is known all over the world for its strange nature. Of the nearly 5,000 million species of birds in the world, the sparrow is the rarest, except that it does not drink water even when it is thirsty.
The bird does not drink water from any river, pond or lake, that is, it does not drink water from any source of water stored in the earth. This bird quenches its thirst by drinking only rain water. So many times the bird is seen waiting for the rain rather than the sky.
It is said that they do not open their mouths even if they throw the thirsty Chatak into a lake filled with water. From this it can be inferred that their self-esteem is much higher. They are found only in Asia and Africa. The main food of birds is ants, caterpillars, grasshoppers, herbaceous leaves etc. What is special about them is that these birds lay their eggs in the nests of other birds and sometimes they throw other birds out of their nests.
