Soon after two decades of ownership, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have bid adieu to their West Village townhouse. The couple bought the 4,182-sq.-foot household for $2.99 million in 2000, a handful of years after their 1997 wedding day. Parker and Broderick have reportedly been quietly shopping all over the Charles Street assets for nearly a year, with a $19 million selling price tag in brain.

Parker and Broderick have now officially parted strategies with the three-tale property, netting exactly $15 million in the sale, per house records to start with noticed by the New York Post.

The residence dates back to 1905, with a quintessential New York stoop that Carrie Bradshaw would surely approve of. At the time, the Sex and the City actress claimed she and Broderick, who have 3 youngsters, had lived in the house for about 13 a long time, and that she didn’t ever see herself leaving New York “voluntarily.” Certainly, Parker and Broderick aren’t packing it up from the metropolis altogether, as they are just relocating a number of blocks absent.
