At the age of 14, Nikhil Kamat started his first business with a friend where he used to buy and sell old phones.
But when Nikhil Kamat’s mother finds out about this business, Nikhil Kamat flushes all his phones in the toilet and then he has to close this business. The school was in favor of not giving Nikhil Kamat a board exam due to low attendance before the board exam and for this reason Nikhil Kamat’s parents were called to the school. On this basis, Nikhil decided to leave the school.
Nikhil Kamat did not know what to do after leaving school. Nikhil Kamat then forged his birth certificate and at the age of 17, Nikhil started working in a call center with a salary of around Rs 8000. At this time, Nikhil Kamat had invested money in the stock market for the first time when he was just 18 years old. And at this time Nikhil Kamat has also learned a lot.
Nikhil Kamat’s father gave some money to Nikhil and told him to manage this money. Nikhil Kamat’s father had a lot of confidence in Nikhil. Nikhil then persuaded the call center manager to invest in the stock market and Nikhil now started investing the call center manager’s money in the stock market.
Nikhil Kamat did not visit the office for a single day in his last year at the call center and yet Nikhil Kamat got an incentive with salary as Nikhil Kamat is doing a lot of work by investing his entire team’s money in the stock market. At that time it was giving good returns.
In 2010, Nikhil Kamat decided to quit his job and after leaving the job, Nikhil started quarreling with his elder brother. Nikhil Kamat once said that even after becoming a millionaire, nothing has changed in him. They still work about 85% of the day.
Nikhil Kamat has also started True Beacon with his elder brother. In 2020, Forbes also included these two brothers in its list of India’s 100 richest.
