We all know that there are many delicious foods available in India. Today a recipe made on a street in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh called Kanji Bara will be shared. This recipe is very easy to make. Make the recipe at home and enjoy kanji bara.
First, take a glass container or a food grade plastic container that will be completely washed and dried.
Take 1 cup of mug dal. Rinse well and soak in water for 2 to 3 hours.
Now put 4 tablespoons of fine black mustard powder in the jar. Also add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, a pinch of asafoetida, 2 teaspoons of salt and 2 teaspoons of mustard oil.

Then put some water in the jar and mix these spices for 2 to 3 minutes. Then mix 2 liters more water in it and shake it well.
Step – 5.
Close the lid of the jar, keep it in a warm place and keep stirring daily. Check again 3 days after making kanji.
Step – 6.
Take 1 cup soaked mug dal to make bara. Remove excess water from it. Put the pulses in a pot and grind them thickly.

After crushing the lentils, take them in a pot. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of hing to the pot.
In a bowl, beat the lentils for 3 to 4 minutes, until they swell.
Step – 9.
Place the pan to heat and pour in the oil. Once the oil is hot enough, put a fork in the oil to check. Frying means the oil is hot enough.
Leave the dal paste in the pan as much oil as you can. Fry them until they turn brown.
Step – 11.
Bara is ready now. Place the tissue on the edge of the pan to remove excess oil. Put them on a plate and arrange the big ones on it.
Put the big ones in the kanji for 30 minutes so that they can absorb the kanji. Once the kanji has grown, stir once. It takes 5 to 6 minutes to fry at once.
Step – 13.
Delicious kanji bara is ready to serve. Serve with 3 to 4 bars in a glass and kanji on top.
