One of the superstars of southern cinema is Mahesh Babu. He has made comments about his Bollywood debut that fans of Hindi cinema have never imagined. He says that Hindi film industry cannot bring him. So he will never waste time behind Hindi film. Mahesh Babu is currently waiting for the release of his next film ‘Sarkaru Bhari Pata’, which is set to release on May 12.
Mahesh Babu has recently spoken about coming to OTT. He said that he is for big screen and he can’t think of coming to digital i.e. OTT. In a conversation with India Today, Mahesh also talks about his Hindi or Bollywood debut. “Bollywood can’t carry me,” he said bluntly.
Mahesh Babu says- he doesn’t want to waste time working in Bollywood.
“I don’t get many offers from Bollywood, but I don’t think they can afford me,” says actor Mahesh Babu. I don’t want to work in an industry that can’t afford me. The stardom and respect I have gained here (in the South) is immense, so I never thought of leaving my industry. I always thought I would make a movie and grow up. My dream is coming true now, I don’t want anything else. ‘
Even before Mahesh Babu, questions were asked about Hindi films
In an interview given a few weeks ago, Mahesh Babu was asked about working in Hindi films. He then said that he did not need to work in Hindi films because now Telugu films are being seen all over the country. That’s why he doesn’t need to work in any Hindi film in particular.
These southern stars also said ‘no’ to Bollywood’s offer and turned down big offers
Not only Mahesh Babu, many other stars of the southern film industry have refused to work in Bollywood. From Allu Arjun, popularly known as ‘Pushpa’, to stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Anushka Sethi, Nayantara and Vijay Deberkonda, many have turned down offers of Hindi films.
